All of the drawings
you kids sent in are just great! Cap'n Cattail here with a few tips to
help you become super duck drawer.
First, try to think
of everything you want to draw as some simple shapes; a square, a circle
and a triangle. The head might be a circle that is a little flattened
at the top and bottom. The legs might be tall squares called rectangles.
Think
about how big one circle or square is compared to another circle or square.
For example the circle for the head is only about half the size of the
circle for the front of the duck. Next look for little curves and angles
that connect all the basic shapes.
