Please note that these activity guides refer to PRINTED versions of Puddler; they DO NOT relate to information that is currently posted on the Puddler Web site. To receive printed issues, you must sign up for a junior greenwing membership. (link to info on becoming a member) However, we have posted full text of articles from the magazine whenever possible for you to review if you don't receive Puddler. Otherwise, refer to the brief article summary before exploring accompanying activities. You will find text-only articles and/or summaries on the opening screen for each issue. These activity guides are posted with the release of each printed issue of the magazine. Each issue-specific guide contains activities relating to three regular Puddler magazine departments:
Special Feature: The "kick-off" to each issue, which introduces various topics, primarily through the use of photos and art More About...:The follow-up to Special Feature, which presents more of the science behind the topic Young Naturalist:A department that features science that is easily observed through outdoor activities or experiments, and encourages readers to become actively involved in learning more about a given topic The content of each department is summarized in the activity guide. Activities are divided into two levels: K-3 and 4-6. We hope these activity guides make Puddler an even more valuable resource to you and your students or children.
