When you think of nests, you probably think of birds. That's because most birds build a nest to hold their eggs. All bird nests have a common purpose. They must keep eggs and young birds warm and safe by protecting them from predators and rough weather. Not all nests look the same, though. They come in different shapes, sizes and materials.
