Water Birds
Many water birds look like waterfowl, but don't
be fooled! They are not considered part of the waterfowl family. Some
of the most common waterfowl look-alikes include coots, cranes, herons,
egrets, and shorebirds. All of these birds are different from waterfowl
in the way they look (such as having lobed toes instead of webbed toes)
or in the way they act (such as wading instead of swimming).
