Carnivore Cafe
This is the main meeting place for meat-eaters, called carnivores (KAR nuh voorz). The food here doesn't win any awards for being pretty. It's always served raw, it may be rotten, and the main dish usually comes with a side of bones and fur! The customers are wild about it, though. Carnivores hunt other animals for food. They may eat herbivores, but they may eat other carnivores, too. So, everyone here eats fast, to avoid ending up on the menu! This place isn't as crowded as the Herbivore Eatery down the road. That's because food comes at a higher price for carnivores than herbivores: there's less of it to be found, and it can be hard to catch! So, fewer carnivores can survive at any time. Unlike herbivores, carnivores may not get to eat every day, either. And, they may work together to round up their food. Which carnivores can you name other than those you see here?
